St Gregory’s Catholic Primary School

This new primary school, which was completed on schedule, replaced two existing Catholic schools in the same road as part of Northampton's change to a two-tier system.
The single storey school, which has places for 420 pupils, has a two-form entry. There are 12 classrooms built around a central grassed courtyard and a further two foundation-stage classrooms. As well as a library and resource unit there is a music room and an ICT suite to enable pupils to become familiar with computers from an early age. The new building also incorporates a large multi-purpose hall.
