Science Faculty
Beauchamp College, Oadby
Following a major remodelling and refurbishment, together with an extension, a new Science Faculty has been completed for the Beauchamp College at Oadby, Leicester.
The existing building had part of the southern end demolished and a two storey extension built in its place. A further extension has also been built on the eastern side.
The scheme has resulted in a 21st century science delivery facility which supports more interactive and exciting ways of teaching and learning, and also fully reflects the requirements of the new science curriculum.
The management of the project was particularly complex, as the school needed to remain available to staff and students while construction took place.
