This large detached house of some 4,000 square feet was designed for a private client in Northamptonshire.
The building was constructed on a sloping site, and in order to take advantage of the spectacular views the house was designed to be "upside-down", with bedroom accommodation on the ground floor with living accommodation above. Sensitive landscaping provided privacy and seclusion. There is a natural sun-trap at the top of the main staircase.
The house features an inbuilt vacuum cleaning system, whereby the cleaning hose can be attached to connectors on the skirting boards of individual rooms.
